Immersive Factory, a global leader in virtual reality (VR) training for workplace safety, and Senar, a pioneer in augmented reality (AR) safety simulators, today announced a major strategic partnership. By joining forces, these two internationally recognized French companies are introducing the most complete and scalable immersive training offering available, addressing the full spectrum of safety awareness and skills development needs across industries.

Driven by a shared mission to reduce workplace accidents through innovation, both companies see immersive learning as a game-changing approach.

“This partnership marks a key milestone in the evolution of immersive training,” said David Lerman, Co-founder and CEO of Senar. “AR and VR are not competing technologies—they’re complementary. Used together, they can adapt to any training format, whether onsite, in a classroom, or remotely, and in both high-risk industrial environments and at home.”

Bertrand Pierre, Co-founder and COO of Immersive Factory, added: “The combination of Immersive Factory and Senar directly addresses the growing demand from companies for impactful, scalable training. With the full immersion of VR and the accessibility of AR via a smartphone, we can safely expose learners to realistic risk scenarios. It’s a breakthrough for training delivery—and a powerful accelerator for on-the-ground safety awareness.”

A Strategic Alliance Built on Strong Synergies

The partnership spans four core areas:

  • Commercial Collaboration: Immersive Factory becomes the exclusive distributor of Senar simulators in Europe. In return, Senar will support Immersive Factory’s expansion in the U.S. market. This collaboration broadens access to cutting-edge immersive solutions for both companies’ clients worldwide.
  • Comprehensive Training Coverage: By combining their expertise, the two companies offer a unified AR/VR portfolio that covers the full range of immersive training use cases, including:
    • Safety awareness days
    • Exam prep and certification testing
    • Risk scenario training, both onsite and at home
    • Real-world practice to complement remote e-learning modules
  • Expanded Simulation Catalog: With over 50 simulations across construction, industry, and energy sectors, the combined offering significantly expands available content. Senar adds key capabilities in fire safety and first aid (cardiac arrest, stroke response, trauma, etc.) to Immersive Factory’s existing catalog.
  • Technological Innovation: Both companies are actively working toward cross-compatible AR/VR environments and co-developing new simulators. They are also exploring advanced AI capabilities that allow simulations to adapt in real time to the user’s context and workspace.

A New Scale for Immersive Training

With more than 500 clients in 30 countries, the Immersive Factory–Senar alliance sets a new benchmark in the immersive learning industry. In a market often fragmented and reliant on costly custom solutions, their joint offering is a true game changer: ready-to-deploy, scalable, and cost-effective. Together, they are becoming the go-to partner for organizations seeking to upskill their teams in workplace safety.
