“Even as a remote company, we really hate remote work,” says Ryan Yep, Head of partnerships and GTM strategy at Immersed, “it prevents us from having that in-office experience.” With Immersed, anywhere you go with internet access can be your fully equipped office.

Some professionals have tried spatial computing headsets to mimic the collaborative feel of the office environment, but most are bulky, require cords, and weigh a pound or more. Frustration with the current standard led Immersed to create Visor, a six-ounce spatial-computing headset with 4K-per-eye micro-OLED displays. Visor is purpose-built for the Immersed app and its AI assistant, Curator.

Powering the Visor Experience

Immersed’s Visor drops you into five 4K virtual displays for a fully immersive experience. This setup drives effortlessly with local AI on a Dell Pro Max tower running NVIDIA RTX™ 6000 Ada Generation accelerated computing. Visor can be tethered or wireless with a battery pack. For companies operating with sensitive data, the corded option keeps Curator’s AI models completely local for total data privacy.

Behind the Glass

Visor creates multiple 4K virtual displays by integrating at the operating system level. Ryan Yep explains that a true AI personal assistant like Curator benefits greatly from Dell Pro Max workstations powered by NVIDIA accelerated computing

When asked to elaborate, he shared, “Dell with NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada Generation is capable of handling the video encoding and AI processing all locally. That’s what makes NVIDIA and Dell great partners.” He continues, “The NVIDIA GPUs deliver 4K screen clarity in the headset. No one has delivered this level of clarity and usability in a device light enough for all-day comfort – which is why Spatial Computing hasn’t been widely adopted at the enterprise level.”

“People won’t adopt this technology unless it’s at least five to ten times better than working with a physical monitor.”

Ken Glass from Dell Technologies explains how hardware drives the Visor experience, “You can use an NVIDIA RTX 1000 Ada Generation Laptop GPU with Visor. With newer options like the NVIDIA RTX 6000, users could access up to eight virtual displays.” Dell Pro Max PCs harness the full potential of NVIDIA RTX GPUs. NVIDIA graphics cards are designed to scale across applications where performance and reliability are essential.

Immersed solves problems beyond fully collaborative remote work. For people with attention disorders, Visor acts like “noise canceling for your eyes” by allowing customization of virtual displays, while keeping sensitive work private–no privacy screen required. In sensitive settings, it provides privacy without additional hardware.

The AI Assistant That Acts, Not Just Chats

Curator is the AI assistant that lives locally on your workstation, not in the cloud. Unlike typical chatbots, Curator takes action on your machine. “It learns from meetings and conversations. It recalls where you sent a message or what was discussed weeks ago and executes system-level tasks,” Yep explains. Curator can run on-prem rather than in the cloud. Teams in finance, healthcare, higher education, manufacturing, or defense can keep IP behind their own firewall while benefiting from generative AI. With security in mind, Dell delivers the most secure and manageable commercial PCs in the market – designed to give customers peace of mind while protecting their organizations against evolving cyber threats¹.

Transforming Work Across Industries

A nurse wearing Visor can access patient information privately. Financial analysts can organize multiple data screens without physical monitors. Engineers can collaborate on 3D models in shared virtual spaces.

For entrepreneurs, the technology reduces startup capital requirements. “You can save on real estate costs if you don’t want a traditional office,” Yep adds, “With AI assistance, you’ll need fewer team members to execute your vision.”

The Spatial Computing environment opens new forms of collaboration. “I can get on a call with you and we can look at a 3D model being designed in interactive and collaborative environments, ” Glass explains.

Human Connection in Spatial Computing

Immersed‘s technology represents a fundamental shift in workplace interaction. The team combines Dell’s deskside computing power with NVIDIA’s graphics architecture for testing and development. Their architecture includes tensor and ray tracing cores. With Immersed’s Spatial Computing expertise, they create tools that adapt to human needs. These advancements replace the need for humans to adapt to technology.

“We’re fully integrated into the ecosystem,” Glass added, “We become part of the environment, not outsiders looking in.”

Visor is available for pre-order today (first-come, first-serve) with deliveries beginning this year.
