DPVR, a provider of virtual and mixed reality (VR/MR) hardware and software solutions, and QWR (Question What’s Real), an India-based VR hardware manufacturer, have announced a new partnership through which they will make QWR’s “VRone. Edu.” VR learning solution globally available for students and educators.

Developed as part of a collaboration between DPVR and QWR, the companies stated that VRone. Edu. has been designed specifically for classroom use, combining DPVR’s hardware with a library of immersive learning modules that offer students an opportunity to engage with educational content in a more interactive way.

At the core of the VRone. Edu. is DPVR’s “P1 Pro EDU” standalone 3DoF VR headset hardware, purpose-built for education and training. Featuring a high-resolution display, 100° field of view (FoV), and powered by Qualcomm’s XR1 processor, the VRone. Edu.’s plug-and-play design is intended for long-term classroom use.

Weighing 350g, the headset offers straightforward functionality and simple deployment to ensure ease of integration into modern classrooms, according to the companies.

Immersive Content for Social Sciences and STEM

VRone. Edu.’s content library, powered by MetabookXR, offers a wide selection of curriculum-aligned educational modules, covering:

  • Social Sciences – Explore historical landmarks, cultural studies, and geography through interactive VR experiences.
  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) – Conduct virtual science experiments, physics simulations, and engineering projects in a safe and engaging VR environment.
  • Skill-Based Training – Hands-on vocational and medical simulations to enhance practical learning.

“VRone. Edu. represents a significant step forward in making immersive learning accessible to students globally,” said Derek Liu, COO of DPVR. “By combining powerful hardware with engaging content, we aim to transform the way students learn and interact with the world around them.”

Suraj Aiar, Founder of QWR, stated: “Education is evolving, and immersive learning is at its core. With VRone. Edu., we’re enabling institutions to adopt high-quality VR education at scale, making learning more engaging, interactive, and future-ready.”

DPVR and QWR stated that VRone. Edu. is now available globally, and is aimed at schools, universities, and individual learners seeking a scalable VR learning solution.
