VR Vision, a Toronto-based provider of enterprise immersive learning solutions, has partnered with Enel Green Power, a global renewable energy company, to develop a virtual reality (VR) training program for renewable energy technicians. The program is designed to modernize training for turbine maintenance, substation operations, and solar farm management.

VR Vision stated that the simulations will offer lifelike interactive learning environments aimed at improving safety, reducing time-to-competency, and increasing training consistency across Enel’s global operations.

“Virtual reality is revolutionizing how the energy sector trains its workforce. Our collaboration with Enel Green Power allows us to deliver immersive, scalable, and results-driven training experiences that drive real operational impact,” said Roni Cerga, CEO of VR Vision.

According to the company, the VR training program will offer:

  • Realistic simulations – Digital twins of turbines, substations, and solar equipment for hands-on practice in virtual settings.
  • Safety-first training – Complex procedures can be performed by technicians in risk-free environments.
  • Faster onboarding – VR will help to reduce training timelines and support knowledge retention.
  • Global standardization – Consistent training experiences across all Enel locations.
  • Advanced analytics – Integration with VR Vision’s Vision Portal for real-time performance tracking, skill assessment, and LMS compatibility.

The initiative forms part of Enel Green Power’s strategy to integrate innovative technologies into its operations and equip its technicians with next-generation tools.
